About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated civil CAD engineer to join a fast-growing engineering team.This role supports the delivery of complex civil engineering projects across Ireland.

Location: Hybrid role based in Maynooth or Galway.

The Role:
As a Civil CAD Engineer, you will work within a collaborative design team to produce accurate, detailed engineering drawings to support the Civil Design Engineering division.

Key responsibilities include:

Producing accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit.
Perform basic design duties for civil engineering infrastructure with support from senior design engineers.
Work collaboratively with senior design engineers to deliver civil engineering drawings.
Must have the ability to prepare plan layouts, sections, setting out, and detailed drawings for civil engineering designs that are construction ready.
Must understand basic civil design principles.
Ensure models/documentation are developed in line with company BIM protocols and procedures.
Produce drawings within agreed timelines and to the project program.
Produce and maintain drawing registers and control of drawing revisions.
Participate in design review meetings.
About You
The Person

This role is open to candidates in the early stages of their professional careers. We are looking to speak to those with a passion for civil engineering and eager to work on complex civil engineering projects.

You will bring:

Minimum Level 7 bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or similar.
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience.
Experience in preparing stormwater, foul water, roads, earthworks, and general civil design elements and drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit.
Pumping Station and Wastewater Treatment Works project experience will be beneficial.
Experience with Navisworks, BIM360, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
A practical, open-minded, hands-on mindset and a drive to get the job right the first time.
Good communication and team collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Full clean Irish/EU driver license.
