About the Role:
My client, a leading provider of engineered solutions in the construction and manufacturing sector, is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to lead project delivery from design through to implementation. This is a key technical role working across teams and with clients to deliver high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead project designs and technical solutions to meet client needs

Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with regulations and standards

Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and building regulations

Conduct site visits, technical calculations, and produce detailed drawings

Liaise with internal departments and clients to ensure on-time project delivery

Provide technical support, training, and mentorship

Support operations and ensure products meet design and production requirements

Identify risks and opportunities, and implement continuous improvements

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum 10 years’ experience in mechanical engineering, including 5+ in a senior, client-facing role

Strong knowledge of industry standards, building regulations, and quality systems

Proficient in SolidWorks, Draftsight, Revit or BIM software

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel
