The Role

They are currently seeking an Electrical Estimator to join their expanding team in Dublin 4. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong measurement and take-off skills, looking to grow their experience on complex, high-value projects in the data center space.


Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical systems including materials, labour, and overheads
- Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Carry out detailed quantity take-offs and assist in pricing from first principles
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain and analyse quotations
- Assist in developing tender submissions and cost plans
- Work closely with design and commercial teams throughout the pre-construction phase
- Contribute to value engineering and identify cost-saving opportunities


Requirements

- Degree or trade qualification in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical estimating, ideally in data center, pharma, or commercial sectors
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally to European sites
