CMT Transport Ltd are looking to recruit a qualified HGV Truck Mechanic. Job Description; Mechanic/Trailer fitter for a busy, fast-paced garage based in Naas Enterprise Park, Naas, Co Kildare. The successful candidate will carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on a modern fleet of Scania HGV Trucks and Chereau trailers. Candidate should have a problem solving approach, self motivated, good communication skills, be able to speak fluent English, a team player while also be capable of working on own initiatve. Occasional breakdown cover required. Essential Skills and Experience; Experience in preventative maintenance checks, servicing and vehicle inspections.Experience repairing defects on trucks and trailers.Knowledge of Air-Braking, ABS, Electrical and Hydraulic systemsAttention to detail and completing repairs to the highest standardCandidate should have own tool-kit, specialist tools provided.
