The Galco Group is the largest provider of Hot Dip Galvanizing in Ireland with 6 Plants on 5 sites throughout the country. In addition to Galvanizing we operate a paint shop at our plant in Ballymount in Dublin to apply Intumescent paint and 2 pack corrosion resistant paint. We wish to recruit an experienced Spray Painter to work in this plant. Scope: The person will report to the Paint Division Manager work and as part of the Paint shop team. Job Description: Applying various different types of 2 pack paints to include intumescent paint, epoxy and zinc rich primers.Preparing and accurately masking various metal surfaces.Some shot blasting will be required.Maintaining all spray equipment and ensuring it remains in good condition.Working to ISO 9001. The person: Minimum 3 years industrial spraying experienceExperience is spraying Intumescent PaintExperience is shot blasting would be an advantage.Experienced in the accurate application of various 2 pack paints.Strong understanding of health and safety within the workplace. Good communication skills and a team player attitude.The ability to work to accurate dry film thicknesses.
